Meet Laleh Vakili, DMD

Dr. Laleh Vakili began her journey on the East Coast, earning her undergraduate degree at Temple University, where she was invited into the honors society. She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dedicated to advancing her skills, Dr. Vakili completed post-doctoral training at UCSF in Pediatric Dentistry, serving as chief resident and graduating with distinction.

With 18 years of private practice experience, Dr. Vakili combines expertise with compassionate care. She has also contributed to the education of future dental professionals, serving as an attending faculty member at the Children’s Hospital in Oakland and teaching postdoctoral residents. Additionally, she has taught at UCSF’s postdoctoral pediatric dental clinic and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Vakili enjoys traveling, diving, gardening, and swimming—activities that reflect her adventurous and balanced lifestyle.
